SELLING Savage benchrest rifle

I have a savage 12 single shot bench rifle for sale. It is chambered in 6.5 Grendel with a 26" barrel. I have never shot this rifle or know the barrel maker or who did the chambering. Bore scope showed some fire cracking. Barreled action sits in a black McMillan 3" stock and has a sharp shooters supply trigger. Bought the rifle for a good deal and really don't need it. Asking $800 plus shipping to your FFL. Let me know if you have any questions

Long or short? These single shot varmint actions were made in both lengths. Long will be 5.060" between 2 farthest action screws and short will be either 4.27 or 4.4.

Looks to be a small shank by the length of the barrel nut.

Could be, the bolt looks like it's from that era with the knurled cap on the back.

Measured the spacing of the action screws and turned out to be 4.52.

Measurement was 4.522. By the serial number I do believe this to be a early version. I would sale the action with trigger and stock. I can take the barrel off and save some on shipping.
