Savage B22 precision

Anybody have one ? If so, what do you like/dislike. A friend of mine wants to start going to our club shoots and wants to know what he should get. He doesn't have Vudoo money so that's out. I let him use my Bergara and 457. I was just wanting to know if it would hang with or was any better than other .22's in it's price range.

I just read a review on one. The best it shot with one particular ammo was five 10 shot groups with the average a bit less than .300. I would consider that pretty good.

I'm assuming that was 50 yds ? I agree. I would be happy with that from a $600 rifle.
