i bet it SHOOTS! Every one of these Savages I've seen just flat out shoot. And man I love a 6.5-284!
Lot's of newbies want to jump right in and shoot LR 1000y and further!

This would be a great starter rifle for that.

I had one of these and it shot well. My version of well anyway. With the right conditions it would put 5 into an inch at 300 yards. That’s as good as I’ve shot any rifle. Edk
