Savage/Anshutz Mark 10

Does any one know where I could find an aftermarket trigger for the Mark 10 action?

Is the Mark 10 a reliable and accurate model worth spending money on?

I have looked around the internet but mostly find parts/info for newer or more popular models.

I have a Mark 10D that I put in a McMillan BR stock. My rifle came with an upgraded trigger that breaks at about 5 oz [ this trigger has an aluminum housing ]. I think these triggers sell for a lot of money if they ever come up for sale. You might be better off finding a different action to build into a custom rifle.

I don't think anyone builds on those actions.

Most build on Anschutz 54 or Remington 40x or a kelby or other type custom action.

However on the cheaper side you could go with a CZ 452 action or the Savage Mark II.

Some also build on the Ruger 77/22 action.

I will most likely bed this into a new stock that fits my son better and go from there. There are really not upgrades needed at this time. When my boy gets good enough I will talk my dad into selling me his 40x.

The local gunshop has a Mk10 with the std trigger and wood stock . It is missing the bolt :, They are asking $220 for it as is. I offered $100 but no deal. I bet they never find a bolt. It also doesn't have any sights.
