I see many post pro and con about the Savage Accutrigger. Here is a suggestion that I have found helps the Savage Accurtrigger.
On the top back of the accutrigger I mill off .035" under the spring.
Once you get the trigger adjusted then use a set screw to lock it in place.
This allows for more adjustment as most of the springs are jammed between the trigger and action.
It also keeps the trigger spring where it is set.
This is an inexpensive fix.
One has to use a carbide end mill to mill off the back of the trigger as the harden metal.
