Savage a17 in hm2/mach2 inquiry

Anyone have experience with semi auto savage. I love the hm2 round more than any other rimfire and am always looking for the caliber in a rifle with a bolt but think i would like to try the semi auto a17. The savage model 47700 is the exact rifle in question. Pretty hard to find in stock but was hoping to hear from someone with experience with it. The Tupperware stock would have to go - maybe a Boyd’s stock. Their a17 stock for 22rf is supposed to fit. Thanks for any comments.

Have a anschutz in 17 m2. Love it. Repeat love it. Not for sale anytime soon. Such an awesome little round. Sorry for taking OP off topic.

Update - did buy an a17 semi auto in hm2 and am VERY pleased with accuracy ! Love the hm2 cal and surprised at how accurate the round is in a semi auto. 100-150 yards and i can have it ! Maybe allow for windy days but it outshoots bolt hands down. Next purchase will be a17 in the 17 wsm round.

I've never tried the A17, but I've found the 17M2 to probably be the most accurate rimfire round I've ever fired.
