Savage 93 - Rifle Basix trigger adjustment ???

I can't adjust the creep out of it, unless it's adjusted to the point where it will slam fire.

Also, If I adjust it so there's no creep, and it won't slam fire, when I install the magazine, it then slam fires. (the magazine applies a little upward pressure on the bolt body). readjust the trigger with the mag installed, can't get the creep out of it without going into slam fires again.

What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions? Anyone with a similar issue with this setup?

I can adjust mine so it will not slamfire, but nowhere close to the advertised pull weight.

I'll have to try that. I'd rather have a heavier pull weight than the creep I have now. I can feel 3 'steps' in the trigger through the range of pull. Nasty!
