Savage 6 Arc conversion questions

Hey guys I need some help. I have a Savage 110 in left hand configuration, and I want to change the barrel over to 6MM ARC. I know I need a bolt head conversion, and I have located that piece of the project along with my barrel. My question is will there be a needed change to the firing pin for this new bolt head? Also, any other advice you may have on making this conversion. Thank you all for the valuable information that you provide here on the forum.

Firing pin does not need to be changed. Savage conversions are pretty straight forward.

Check protrusion. I had several that were excessive.

I have a 6ARC 110 Savage and I can tell you that the magazine is nearly identical to the one used for the 223 which has the plastic spacer to the rear and the feed lips are slightly wider.
