Savage.243 or 22-250 barrel

looking to shed some weight from my model 10 .243 I put together years ago . Does anyone have a lead on a factory barrel from a max 1 predator, 24" fluted in .243 or 22-250 ? The barrel I have now is 26" heavy and not terribly accurate so looking for a switch

There are so many better barrels out there and have been down that road before. Get at least an E.R. Shaw , midway has them on sale quite often. I got a 7-08 stainless sporter barrel that shoots better than a factory would for 165.00. A green mountain shoots way better than factory and they are cheap too.

Those ER shaw barrels from midway are not to be overlooked. Ive built 4 Savage rigs (.223,243,7.08) with them, all print in the sub moas and way more accurate then the stock savage barrels IMO. Price is right.
