Savage 22-250 hard extraction(update)

I took a factory hornady round,I measured the headspace,it was .003 less than a fired round in this barrel.
Measured the outside neck on the factory round it was .253
When I chambered the round the bolt handle had a little resistance.
Fired the round and it ejected very good.
Measured outside of fired neck .252

Everything I measure on my reloads confirms they should work just like the factory measurements

I think your problem is at the case head not the on the shoulder or your neck. I think what bolt fluter mentions above, is to measure .200" in front of rim and the same on a new piece of brass both Lapua cases of course. Your sizing die does not size this area but a small base die might help.

The fired factory rounds chambers with a little resistance, ejects good.
Reload chambers with less resistance than the fired round, ejects good.
The round I fired yesterday, bolt closes with some resistance, but wont eject?

Small base die fixed it.it was tight right below shoulder, the die resized it more.

Thank you everybody, I know some of you guys suggested that, thank you
