Savage 20 BR up and runnning and gunnin' for 1,000yd PDog=Pics and BS aplenty

voldoc02,
Rifle 1 and rfurman24 are right, I apologize, you do have a fine shooting rifle and I would sincerely like to see some long range groups with your 20 br. I have a 22br but its in a 1:14 si it wont shoot the heavier .22 cal bullets for long stuff but it shoots nice out to about 300yards. Again I am sorry for yapping about your small cal projectiles without giving you a chance to see what it can really do, all the luck in the world to you ;)
Respectfully Wayne.

Shooters=
Hey let's just try to get along=
(gggggggggggg)==
I have got my new 20 BR shooting plenty good enough
to whack a 1,000 yd PD in a few weeks in CO=
My shootin' partner and I have killed many many
PD's beryond 1,000yds and w/o shootin' till the barrel melts=
Most times we can connect in less than 10 shots=
We call ever shot and our Ballastic Drop charts are right on=
I have Leica RF Binos and range all PD's before we shoot=
The Leica's are awesome but pricey = now about $2,500=
Down side of the 20's just as mentioned is Barrel Life=
My 20 BR now has < 250 rounds down the tube and is
showing severe firecracking almost out to the Lands=
They may shoot around 1,000 before puking but time will tell=
I shot out a 22 Dasher in 200 shots using RL-17 and full bore loads=
vey accurate and Kick-ass velocities but got have tht long green to afford that combo= not worth it IMHO=

I'll post some pics of the 1,000yd =20cal= PD when it happens=
now I'll just be happy with 1/3 MOA to distance=
Thanks for the interest and by the way = that 3 shot group
was way less than two 20cal bullet holes wide=
Target Paper was very soggy wet that day and wouldn't hold a clean edge and it tore slightly beyond lateral edges ( look closely and you can tell how wet the paper is==(anyway who cares= the rifle shoots)

Sour Grapes= ?????????????

No matter what way you look at it, its a nice rifle that shoots and its still a 1000 yards weither with a 20cal, big 6 or a short mag if you cant read the wind your just wasting ammo. Now its gonna be a little easier with the bigger calibers but hey if you like a challenge more power to you! Good luck voldoc!

To all that posted on here if your still looking I was Wrong, Doc made a 1032 yard confirmed kill with his little 20 br, I never thought it possible to accurately drive a little 55 grain bullet that far. Job well done Doc Lane
