How it should look. Looks like maybe your extractor is flipped too the dimple is where the ball bearing holds it in place

Some are stubborn, took an allen driver on a 8" 3/8 drive ratchet with the bolt held in the milling machine vise to initial break the one loose on my Savage PTA bolt fresh out of the box.Don’t pay attention to the Mickey Mouse allen pack I can’t place where my good set is at the moment.
