How it should look. Looks like maybe your extractor is flipped too the dimple is where the ball bearing holds it in place
Hallelujah. That was it. It ejects just fine now. Thanks for the pics and help. The extractor is correct. There's a small stamp on mine. I had gotten really frustrated with this rifle. I'm guessing others have also done this with other guys complaining of same problem.

Ah danget !!! I should have offered you $300 and got a steal of a deal !!!

Good. You must be slick to get the cocking piece pin out and back in without too much trouble. Glad I could help. I have had mine apart way more than I care to admit. What caliber is your rifle ? Never mind, 6br

Don’t pay attention to the Mickey Mouse allen pack I can’t place where my good set is at the moment. Hold one hand on the bolt body and the other push down counter clockwise on the Allen, it should break loose View attachment 1441553View attachment 1441554
Some are stubborn, took an allen driver on a 8" 3/8 drive ratchet with the bolt held in the milling machine vise to initial break the one loose on my Savage PTA bolt fresh out of the box.
