Savage 116 Aftermarket Stocks

Just bought a Savage trophy hunter Xp 16/116, 300 WM. Looking to eventually replace the factory stock (which feels really cheap and flimsy) with a composite stock (preferably). Lightweight but strong is the goal here. Also if anyone knows where I could track down an aftermarket bottom metal to replace the plastic that would be nice to know. Any suggestions are appreciated

I have been happy with B&c medalist sporter for my 111 long range hunter. Full aluminum bedding block, nice aesthetics and good fit. Green with black webbing.

Savage should sell you a metal bottom metal. They'll want you to sign a waver through email. Call them.

I originally wanted to go with a b&c but I can't find one that's for a center feed magazine. Only stagger feed.

Keep in mind spacing for staggered and centerfeed is the same. A little creativity with mounting the magazine can make both work
