Savage 111 Replacement Trigger?

F18
If you plan to buy a rifle basix trigger, my advice would be to go look at one before you cough up the C-note. I wish I had.

You can take this for what it's worth , I've had them all and went back to a tuned accutrigger on a pta action... For obvious reasons due to the design there is only so much one can do with a savage in order to have it safely operate.

I have had some that were brought down as low as 4oz but eventually were not reliable or safe in my opinion.

The accutrigger from a pta action can and has been brought down to the 6oz mark.

Good luck

The the SAV-1 is not $100.00 , $84-85ish , and works well on the Savage that I have.

^^^^^ this. Rifle basix are excellent triggers. Have one in my savage build, stiller build and 2 Remington builds and putting one in my defiance build. Top notch triggers with no issues thus far

I, too, have had good results with the Rifle Basix triggers. They take some work to adjust properly - three elements that are interdependent to some degree - but, in the end, they deliver the goods. I have installed them on all of my Savages with one exception (stock AccuTrigger on a hunting rifle) and I'm very satisfied with their performance.

Sharp Shooter has two triggers. Competition goes down to 12 oz, & uses Savage safety. Evolution goes down to 3 oz, & action has to be timed & trued by Sharp Shooter, does not use safety.

I'd like to thank everyone for your input. I'm going to run the recommendations by my gunsmith and go from there.

This Savage, like most centerfire Savages I've owned, is a tack driver.
