Savage 110BA stock

Hey guys, I have an older version of a 110BA in 338LM. It is around the 2012 vintage. I love shooting big bores but after a couple hours of shooting I can't hardly feel my shoulder. I shoot pretty hot 300gr loads and I can feel it. I can really afford another chassis for the rifle. Wondering if there are any good options for the buttstock. The magpul PRS isnt comfortable to me. Ive done some looking on yhe web with pretty much zero results. Looks like there used to be a buttpad for the magpul but it is discontinued. Any ideas or suggestions would be awesome.

I spent about $250 for a Choate Varmint stock for mine. The pistol grip is hollow and I filled that with #7 shot for more weight. The stock is VERY heavy to begin with, But I can now shoot the heavy bullets and my shoulder doesn't even feel it. On top of that it turned a half inch rifle into 1/4" rig. If it had a brake too it would be like a 223

The ugly adjustable stock that came on it actually has recoil reducing factors built into it. I was looking at swapping mine out until I figured that out . A PRS isn't going to have any for sure.

The brake can be swapped out with a better one, but the bigger gain in recoil reduction for me was adding weight. If you don't care about looks, just bolt it to the bottom behind the bipod. For a more pleasing appearance, there is room inside the stock, under the barrel. I forget what the dimensions are off the top of my head, but adding a few pounds is easy.

I will probably end up adding weight to it. I was just looking for a replacement buttstock or recoil pad to add. I don't shoot the rifle enough to justify sticking a bunch of money into the stock. Couple hundred would be fine but not worth a pile of money. I get by with it was is just looking to see if there are cheap options.
