Savage 110 Action Build part II

So I am leaning towards a 6.5 Swede for my Savage 110 Action.

Barrel recommendations? I am guessing a 1 for 8 is the best or a 1 for 8.5?

Which barrel maker should I look at. I have had good luck with Kriegers in the short range benchrest game but I also was looking a Pac Nors, Lilja, and Broughton. Any suggestions?

I do have local gun smith in mind but is there one that anyone has had exceptional experience with building a Tactical style or long range target plinker?

From what I've read, not experienced, I would say the 1:8 twist would work. Try out the Berger Twist Rate calculator for the bullets you plan on shooting and it will give you a good idea.
