saum friendly powder funnel?

I went to charge a .300 SAUM case the other night, and my Lyman funnel wouldn't fit down over the body of the case. Does the RCBS, or maybe another one fit, or do I need to bore mine out?

I've been really happy with the Satern's also. They sit still and it's easy to keep the static down--so no sticking powder kernels.

If your having problems with powder sticking to the sides of the plastic funnels. wipe em down with one of those little dryer sheets they add to the cloths when they go in the dryer, it's a big help in stopping that annoying problem.....

I needed to get some rounds loaded before I could order a proper funnel, so I made a simple cone out of stiff paper. It worked great- somewhat easier to manage than a proper funnel, actually. It wouldn't work w/ a smaller ca.l case, since the case mouth would be small enough to cause a powder dam, but it was nice and light, the white colour made it easy to see, and no static.

I had a similar problem when I started loading for my 325 and 300 wsm's. I got 2' of 1/4 " hose and taped it to a stiff Rod. Cut a 22-250 case off after the shoulder and VLD deburred the mouth lot's. stuck the case in the bottom so I had something to put the cartidges against. I took a piece of clear plastic and made a funnel on the top taped 'er up and now I have a two foot drop tube that works for all my cartridges. Comes in pretty hand when I need to pack in the powder

I thought about something like that. I'm not sue my arms are long enough for a drop tube that long!

I really like it, I never use a regular funnel any more. My loading center is set up with me sitting down on a roller chair so I can scoot from my scale to the press and so on. The funnel is eye hight and the cartidge is at my knees. I was amaized at how much the little thing packs the powder in.
