Like new condition… used once, less than 20 shots. We built up this Sauer to model the Swedish Mauser M41 with German optics to pursue CMP Vintage Sniper Matches. We planned to use it for load development, gaining experience in long-range with low-power scopes and save wear & tear on the M41. But things changed and we look to sell the Sauer.
This is the off-the-shelf Sauer 100 Classic XT Black Bolt Action Rifle in 6.5x55mm Swedish to which we added scope bases, 4x Tasco and Burris Signature Zee rings with +0 inserts. We custom fabricated the brass bolt knob (replacing that little ball thingy) and added a neoprene cheek pad.
For those not familiar with the 6.5x55 Swedish, it’s been around for a long time especially in Europe where it’s like their equivalent to our 30-06. The performance of the round is very comparable to the 6.5 Creedmoor.
