I noticed this morning that President Joe Biden along with the UK has placed sanctions on the import of Russian oil and coal.

I wonder if it has occurred to him to lift the sanctions that he has placed on the U.S domestic production? Evidently not, it was noted that the U.S will import Venezuelan and Iranian oil.

Joe evidently never heard of the old saying, “When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.”

What do you expect he's done what he has done to lift the price so him and his cronies make billions out of it last thing he wants his cheap fuel

Enter the virtue signalers once again. This will only hurt the working, middle class, but then they don't vote the right way anyway. It feeds into the greenies playbook perfectly. We are told to feel patriotic about this, we should be proud to pay more while making our self-important moral judgements. Meanwhile, the same corporations shoving their woke commercials down our throats are lining up for the same obligatory virtue signaling against Russia. If only a small percentage of this concern for the innocents was expressed for the thousands of Americans who die as a direct result of unchecked illegals.

Mark, I wish I could agree with you. Here in Wisconsin, I hear stories daily of election irregularities. From the election nothing has changed here. I hope I am wrong but see no reason for things to change in the next election. I believe if all of us on this site were in a room together, we would disagree on many things, at the end of the day we would allow each other to follow our own beliefs. Can say the same thing about the other side?

I'll bet most people on this site, and most people in general belive and want the same thing, "Life, Liberty and the Persut of Happiness.
The problem is, some have been brainwashed on how to sustain it.
With God's help and a tremendous amount of prayer, this out of control enemy will be defeated.
America was founded on Godley principles, I see God is on the move and change coming.

Unfortunately, Trump's Opec deal to cut production in April 2020 (largest cut yet) had a two year contract on it. Opec did agree to increase production in Nov. '21, but only a little and they are mostly sticking to the contract. The contract is set to end by the end of next month. This isn't the entire reason for high prices, but is a part of it.
