Same or similar footprint?

Can someone in the group tell me if a Howa 1500 SA and a 700 Rem SA have the same or similar footprint? I'm looing to get a different stock for my Howa and would like to know if a stock inletted for a 700 will work.

It is a flat bottom with integral lug. No where close to the same footprint

700 is really not close but a Sako AV is almost identical to the Howa 1500, fwiw. Very close! I'm surprised Howa didn't make whatever little changes to allow them to interchange, they are so close. I'm talking less than maybe a 1/16" anywhere that I can remember and most places nowhere near that much.
