Another forum member (who prefers anonymity) says A1 and L461 stocks are interchangeable in his experience.

Identical inletting? Maybe with respect to the action only. Many barrel variations.

This is correct. The only difference between the L461 and the A1 is the bolt shroud! That Sako collectors post is not relevant.
