Id measure it and cut accordingly. Some were metric and some were imperial. Some folks thread imperial loose enough to fit like they dont know or dont care ive seen it all

i dont know. There is only the 3 old Sako actions listed in my magazine.

Some of you may have received a copy of the TSGC booklet of tenon specs. The L46 is .855 in diameter, .845 long and 16TPI. No print on the L461, so I don't know if it is the same as the L46.

http://sakoSakos are not metric.

The ones I've barreled are L461/AI @ .875 x 16 tpi, L579/AII @ 1" x 16 tpi and AV's @ 1.04 x 16 tpi.

75's and 85's as well as Tikka T3's are 1" x 16 tpi.

I have take offs from an L461 and a T3 at the shop. I'll measure them over wires and get back to you guys.
I also have one from an M995 and that one is metric.
