Sako 75 Action

I have a Sako 75 VLS am thinking of useing the action and makeing a custom rifle in 6PPC 1-14tw is currently 1-12tw 6PPC factory.
Has anyone used one of these actions in a custom rifle.
Can anyone forsee any problems with useing it or do you think i should just sell the complete rifle and start with a Stolle Panda action?

Depends on what you want if for. For Benchrest, sell it and get the Panda. For club shooting or Varmints, shoot the Sako as is.

The only thing with useing the Sako action is that it has a magazine and the comp i wish to shoot in you must have a working magazine so maybe just a very light stock i need to lose 12oz off the standard rifle.

In that case, you probably want a Kodiak, not a Panda?

Iam having Mike Bryant build a 257 AI on my Sako 75 with a McMillan stock, and Lilja barrel! I think you can do better if your looking for a competition rig but since this one is for hunting I think it's a great action and it doesn't look like everyone else's M-700.
