Sako 6ppc ammo

I just purchased a older Sako varmint in a 6ppc in the 491 single shot action that you could not tell from a new 1. The fellow still needs to hunt up the brass for me that he used. He said the chamber was a little on the tight side and that he had to clean the brass up a little for it to chamber. He did say that i could find some Sako 6ppc ammo to use for now and it would work just fine. I sold my stuff to turn necks a long time ago but am going to buy some stuff to fool with it again in the near future. Anybody here know where i could find some of this to hold me over until i get back with him to get the brass he needs to hunt up for me. I wish i had some pictures to post of it because it sure is pretty and this is the first Sako i have bought. What a sweet rifle and looking forward to seeing how it shoots. Thanks....DAN....

May want to consider the new Norma 6PPC brass. In my experience it is more uniform than the Sako brass. It will have a loaded neck diameter of approx. 0.266" which I believe should not require any neck turning if you have a Sako factory 6PPC USA chamber. Midway has Norma 6PPC in stock.
