excellent, just what I was looking forWhen I was shooting muzzleloader I used a Lee powder dipper to cover the nipple on caplock rifles. No cap and just lower the hammer on to dipper to hold it in place. I think this would work with inlines too.
Flintlocks frizzen forward off the pan with frizzen cover on and hammer forward.
Range rules were when the line went cold muzzleloaders went muzzle up and in the rack. Hammers down on side locks and frizzens open.
