The guy who owns my 218 Bee, has been a lazy pig about cleaning it. So -- I thought I'd oughta take care of business and do it for him.
In the process, it occurred to me that I'd never actually measured the chamber on that one for true chamber neck length. I've been loading the stubby little 35 Gr. V-Max's for the most part these days, and frankly it would be nice to have a little more bullet in the neck.
So I made the little doohickey that works for measuring that distance, and found that I could let my cases grow .025", and still have 5 thou. for safety. This also means that I probably won't have to trim a case for this rifle for the rest of my life.
Thought I'd mention this to y'all in case anybody cares. jd
