I have the standard Shield. 8 round capacity as my CCW. It has never failed to feed or eject any ammo. I think it is a fine CCW. Buy it.

If you are set on that chambering, buy 3-4K rounds along with it. Oddball, lame duck caliber like the 327 Fed. It will be the first one they stop making when ammo shortages restart.

Regardless of the chambering, get some sandbox time in with a Shield. I found the pistol too small to operate proficiently.

Wife and I both have the Shield w/EZ and laser. I had a Glock 43 and liked it. But, I have a week left hand and had trouble jacking the slide. We have had no troubles with our Shields.
