Help with antique S&W

I talk about my brother, and its true, but he worked at the busiest station in Palm Beach County FL. He told me when he was on the medic rig that, many nights he started shift by taking over a running medic truck from last shift and never shutting it off all night long.
 
Well they guy priced it for $150 so I paid the man. Thinking a display case and maybe some older Morgan silver dollars I have. Now to find a display case of some kind. Funny thing is wife is on board which is unusual. Pretty sure I have an 1886 which I believe is the year this gun was introduced. No brass, no dies so I can't shoot it. I did make an earplug load with just a primer with the one piece of brass I have. 1800's nerf gun lol. Good for about 10yds.
