Just finished running 550 rounds through the new pistol. 450 rounds of 39 gr. Hornady V-MAX 50 rounds Fiocchi 40 gr. and 50 rounds of Federal 50 gr. Outside of the very first round (Federal) it has run flawlessly. The S&W is without a doubt the best 22 mag semi auto I have owned! I have had the Excel Arms Accelerator, Kel Tek PMR 30 (the worst of them all), Rock Island/Armscore, and even the Volquartsen.

i concur !
i have been using, abusing and running the crap out of my MP 12-22lr for years!!! let it on the atv rack in rain ,sleet and snow etc...prarie dog hunting in Wyo 3x. cracked the frame once and sent back to S&W for replacement.
I LOVE IT! mostly shoot all CCI and some federal. I Highly recomend it!
