S and W model 48 scope base

I have a Smith and Wesson m48 22 mag that I would like to put a scope on. It had an old 1.3 power Bushnell on it but I need to find some bases so I can mount a better scope. I am not having any luck finding them so thought I would ask here, where should I look? This gun is from the late 50's or the 60's and the only holes are from the iron sights. It may need to be drilled and taped.

There may not be anything out there still in production for you revolver.
Once most all S&W revolvers manufactured in the K, L, N & X frame were shipped drilled and tapped the few mounts made to work with the old factory sight holes seem to have dried up.
I used to have a B-Square mount that would be exactly what you needed but no clue what happened to it. I would generally advise against drill and tap for any of those old classic S&W revolvers due to the potential collector's value.

Thanks guys, I have checked a couple places and no luck so far. I don't even know the value of it or how much drilling and taping hurt. Sad thing is this gun is like new.
