Ryan Hunt @ Hunts Long Range

I've been waiting on an order since last feb
told Ryan at te time send me what you have in stock and ship the rest when you have it
He stated he should have the rest in soon and didn't want to split the order in two
so hopefully he still has my berger 85.5 bullets that he had then and still waiting on the SK 22
which I agree is beyond his control

but he doesn't answer his phone much and I've never gotten a response to any email inquiry
so if I can ever get hold of him he can ship the Bergers and cancel the SK 22 rest due lack of comunicatioin OR he can cancel it all !

Damn, a much smaller item but been waiting on an Origin lug backorder for about a month and a half. I also emailed him originally to get an estimate (any estimate - just wanted to set my expectations) and never heard anything. Heard he was "a great guy" and went ahead and placed the back order....

Looks like he has some major problems being honest with his customers. Sad!
 
Well, technically I didn't hear anything so it's not a lack of honesty in my case but a lack of communication.
A few months back he told me they were sitting on the bench in front of him and that they would ship out Friday or Monday so in my case he wasn’t very honest with me. Makes no difference now, it’s water over the dam. Good luck with your purchase and hopefully his communication skills with his customers will improve.
 
UPDATE:
This morning I was finally able to get Ryan on the phone. Apparently according to Ryan, my order did ship but was lost in shipping and tracking for that shipment is no longer available. He offered a refund or he could reship my order out of the next batch of BRX brass that he runs which wouldn’t be until after the first of the year sometime. I opted for the refund and I explained to Ryan how difficult and frustrating it has been to get in touch with him. He apologized for the difficulties and is sending a refund check. Hopefully Ryan will address the difficulties that people are having getting in touch with him and his business will continue to be successful.
 
Left them a message over the weekend on their facebook page
they contacted me for the order # early mon
been 48hrs with no further contact
starting to looki like Im going to have to go the dispute the CC charges route
My cc dispute was denied because it was not filed within 60 days of the purchase so if it has been over 60 days total since your purchase you’re probably wasting your time. Ryan seemed sincere with his apologies and said that he would be sending me a check for reimbursement. Hopefully he will get his communication problem sorted out which will make for a much happier customer base.

ya been well over 60 days more like 300 days guess i'll have to keep dogging them
 
I messaged Hunt's again asking for an order status update,
they said my order is complete.
I asked when did the last of the missing items come in?
LAST WEEK! and my order WON"T be SHIPPED till NEXT WEEK?

Don't think I'll be dealing with HUNTs again OR recomending them either
 
asked for tracking on 12/22/21
" oh were not in the shop for the next two weeks but that has shipped"

as of 1/4/22 still no order and I have requested a refund BUYER BEWARE

never did get an order tracking number so I could verify when/where my order supposedly went astray
and as of 1/15 no refund check received yet
which they originally claimed had been sent WITH tracking
and when I got firm about them providing a tracking number "oh our mistake that was sent without tracking by regular mail"
AND refund was supposedly sent to the order address for common carrier / orm-d shippments which I dont get postal delivery at NOT my mailing / billing address given with the original order

BUYER VERY MUCH BEWARE WHEN DEALING WITH HUNT"S LONG RANGE
 
The "your package was lost in transit" line is B.S. I'd wager nothing was ever shipped thats why they cant or wont give you a tracking number. I've received that line a few times over the years buying custom car parts. I also was told the refunds in the mail and never received it. I hope you guys do actually get a refund.

This is starting to sound like a broken record but here it is. 2 hundred pieces of 6BRX brass from Hunts Long Range ordered and paid for last June. Still no brass or refund check that he said was in the mail middle of December. I’m loosing my patience with all of his excuse.
