Your correct but wrong. Yes pcps are great but just another version of a rim fire. No, pcps do not have the ammo problem but you need a compressor, sirtankd, fill probes.....with a Springer you need pellets and skill period.Good conditions at 50 if a good Springer and shoot does .5. Require more skill, just as much fun and to 40.00 a box ammo, no tanks, hoses, compressors etc.Most of them won’t do that, or come close. My SR200 would come close.
Like it or not, they are being out shown by PCP guns.
Watch the video interview with Alan Zasadny, still the custom field target guru. Guy wont even touch a springer these days.
Several of us have been shooting the new FX DRS tactical 22’s, going to run an air BR league this spring.
That said, even with a slight breeze, these things go off the rails pretty quick especially @ 50 yds.
