RWS brass, who is importing it?

Many years ago on diving trips up in Canada, I found a place in Kitchener
that had it, and would bring back what I could afford, coming back home.
Sad, those days are gone but, maybe some of our Canadian brethren have
a lead.......

Back when Huntingdon's closed there was a question of who would take over the RWS line in the US. I read somewhere that there was no real interest due to ridiculously low volume of sales. Dont remember the exact example, but something like 6 boxes of 9.3x72 brass & not significantly better for even the more common brass the previous year.

Oddly enough I asked Raven Rocks about this earlier today & was told RWS didn't seem to have any real interest in the US market.

I don’t know if he would know but there’s a member on this site that sold me some of his excess .300wm rws brass he was using rws to compete withThis was probably 2010-2011 but he’s still a active member you might pm him and see if he knows or could share any info. JayCutright is his forum name

The issue with RWS, is it just got taken over by Beretta, so, whoever will be distributing it now, will be assigned thru Beretta USA no doubt, RWS had said they were opening a US dist, not sure what the deal on that was, 2 yrs ago?. I had a source here in Cda, that could get RWS stuff out of Switzerland, it's gone due to this takeover. I inquired with Stoeger Cda about bullets, 10K pc min order, I didn't ask if that was all one SKU or mixed was allowed. We were getting lots of RWS ammo around here, seeing tons af Sako now. Only see Norma ammo and some bullets as a rule. Maybe Beretta will get it together and get all the components over here now, guess we'll see, depends if they can get orders for them I expect.

Found this.....Anyone near the area to confirm something has been built ??

Creedmoor Sports and Champions Choice both sell RWS rimfire ammo; maybe a call to them will yield their importer/distributor name?

I've had luck by messaging sellers who have RWS brass listed on GB and asking if they have what I need. What calibers are you looking for?

I got what I think is the last three hundred 5.56x50 RWS MAG brass in the States from an estate. I bought it all. I use it to make 6x50 Mo' Better wildcat.
