My postal employees deliver 7 days a week and sometimes twice on week end days. My UPS driver most times delivers after 7 at night and sometimes as late as 9:15 pm. Same with Fed Ex and I used to hate Fed Ex. They know where to put packages if I ain’t there and take care of me and my business.
Maybe if he gave a crap more about his mailbox, that the carrier may have to prop up, maybe they would give a package more care. This is a cheap shot. We even give our garbage pickup guys 50 bux at Christmas because they are worth it, and I appreciate them.

I am very fortunate, if it does not fit in the box and the lid closed, the lady carries it up to the front door and porch.

the only deliveries that really bother me are when i order a 26" piece of <ahem> 'rebar' and it gets delivered sticking out the front of the box with the door open. seems like too much of an invitation to me.

I have had generators, Barrels and an action left at my mail box. I am 8 miles from the mail box and have not had issues.. UPS comes to my door weather permitting. FedEx has been hit or miss but we have a new driver now that seems to be ok and mostly comes to the house or texts me she left me a package at the mailbox.

Well ! it is a Big Joke in Fly Over Oregone.
Ordered a Stock From Mikes in MO. Great Guy ..3-day Insured with Tracking.
I checked Tracking by the day, Monday On Truck Out for Delivery Signature required .
Monday 3:00 No Stock check Tracking in Red Return to Sender Wrong Address !
You now have one Hot Guy ready for War....
I went to the Post Office for a World Class Not My Job, I take Mail and Sell Stamps .The Post Master will return tomorrow at 09:00 be early the line will be long. The War is not going well.
I go out side the Post Office and low and behold I see our Mail Carrier Pulling in the Post Office Yard.
First Sargent Fast feet is off , get to Her Truck . I say hello ,I try to show Her my I-phone with the Tracking Return to Send !!! Don't put that Phone in my face I don't look at them .
Then A nice Man came out and said get off Post Office Property . I talk to Him and told the Story show ID , He and the Carrier went in side, he told me to wait here.
He came out with Box and handed it to me. I looked at the Printed out label 100% Correct ,My Name and Address ! I asked the nice Man there is nothing wrong with my address , He turned and walked back inside.
I was happy got my Stock.
One week latter I was in the Post Office again, thought about the Stock . The Post Masters office was open ,
I went in and told the above story. There were Two Ladies behind the counter , they looked back and forth and at me ! The Lady I spoke to look at me and said must have been a 4270 Sorry.

Our postman is a sandbox vet and always brings it to the door if it won't fit. Fed Ex girl not only brings it in if it's heavy but plays with our dogs for a minute. Probably verboten. OTOH, UPS drops powder and primers by the front door, which should require a signature.

brings to covered porch. She also get $100 in a Christmas Card every

My stepdad gave the garbage guys a quart of Bourbon every Christmas. Our cans were never banged around and always left upright with the lids on.

nope that is rural Pennsylvania..where i I sent the package to a friend

I believe postal regulations are of a higher weight than that.

My carrier brings packages a hundred yards up the driveway to the house and puts them by the front door. No problems with theives around here. Good neighbors and my reputation still works.
