Rumors are true! 30 Nosler to be introduced at the SHOT Show

I have seen the reamers for a while, but nothing official from Nosler. This is interesting. I rechambered my 7mm UltraMag to 28 Nosler and couldn't be happier. Same performance with less powder. I am not ready to give up my 300 Ultras yet, but might give the 30 a try.

Nosler factory ammo is pushing 210s at 3000 FPS. Looks like this might have some potential for F-Open... if the brass is any good.

A 28 Nosler case has 98 grains H20 capacity in my tests.

With the 28 Nos. being the same capacity as the 7 STW and without any major differences in case shape/size, I'd say it's close to the 300 Dakota...maybe just a touch more. edit to ad: This one I will get.

Yes Scott thats a challenge but you have to shoot it through matches all summer not just monday night. I think I found a gorilla folks!

After 20 some years of skiing, showing off for girls on the chairlift, and the same amount of time riding/training horses, I doubt my shoulders can get much worse. I use the 215 hybrid in my 308, I doubt the recoil will but much worse in a 22# rifle, even with twice the powder charge. I just want Chris to sweeten the prize first!
