Ruger rings

What are the highest quality rings available for a Ruger m77? I’m aware of the Alaska Arms (I have a set and like them), but I don’t need quick release levers and I’d prefer to spend less than $175.

It’s for a fairly heavy recoiling rifle, so I need them to hold well, and hopefully look nice too.

I have a Ruger M77 Hawkeye Long Range Target in 6.5PRC. I’m using Badger Ordinance. Holds zero & rock solid.

I would go with Leupolds version if I couldn't get the Ruger brand. One thing I've noticed is no mater whose rings used on ruger dedicated mount systems, I would highly recommend lapping them in after mounted. To bad Burris doesn't offer a Signature ring for those mount's. They have become my ring of choice for anything from airguns and rimfire, to centerfire sporting and varmint.

I have Leupold's on my 300WM and they have held up fine. Purchased a new scope and the Ruger ones that came with the gun were not tall enough. I would have bought Ruger again but would have had to order them and the Leupold's were in stock at Cabelas.

They used to but quit making them for some reason. You can find a set on ebay from time to time.

Your rifle has a picatinny rail, older Ruger's have a proprietary ring mount system. Usually the rings are 2 different heights but not always.

I have used some Burris Ruger rings and they were fine.

I use Leupold on my #1, it is my heavy recoil stopping gun. I've never experienced the scope moving. The gun is a Winchester 1885, (new manufacture) in 17HMR. I use the 17 grain V-Max to help reduce the recoil. It certainly stops sage rats.
