Ruger No. 1 w/ custom barrel

I was wondering if anyone has put custom on a No. 1 and what the results were. Is this thing capable of CONSISTENT sub 1/2 MOA out to 300 yards

My brother put a strait taper Hart on his 7mm Rmag at 28" and half inch is very common..Canjar used to make a great trigger for them but went out of business, I have seen one still for sale on the internet..

Where can a guy get a #1 rebarreled? Pretty hard to find a smith who will take it on..

It should be able to do it with the factory barrel and the proper loads.

I have a NEF Handi 223 that'll make dime size groups at 200.

If the Ruger isn't shooting sub moa now, a custom barrel isn't going to help.
