Well here goes. This is my Ruger No 1 standard in .25-06 Remington. 26" barrel, black pad, overall nice condition other than some faint scratches on the underside of the barrel. Rifle has a Jard trigger set to approximately 2-1/4 pounds. I also installed a round profile safety from Legendary Action Works. This style makes it easier for brass to eject rather than bounce off the factory selector back into the chamber.
I also stripped the factory finish from the wood and applied a couple dozen coats of Arrow wood finish. 30mm Ruger rings included.
I have a Redding Deluxe 3 die set and somewhere around 150 pieces of brass, mostly white box W-W, but 50 of it is reformed from Lapua .30-06. I would sell these to the buyer for an extra $200
As you might know, these rifles can be temperamental to shoot accurately. I can usually get 1-1.5 MOA without too much difficulty, but I'd like something a little more predictable since my time to do load development and testing is quite restricted.
I'm asking $1400 shipped for the rifle and rings. Usps money orders or checks from gold & silver members with good feedback. Please see that your dealer will accept from an individual. Trades considered. My focus would mainly be something semi-custom; something like a Model 70 or 700 with a good stock and barrel in rounds ranging from .260 & 7mm-08 up to around 280 Rem/ Rem A.I. Easy brass is desired.
