Ruger-Hornady Kestrels?

Does anybody have the Ruger or Hornady Kestrel?
I am wondering if it is compatible with the Vortex ballistic program on my phone. I have a Vortex range finder, and according to the phone program I could also connect the phone to a Kestrel, and I could get wind measurements pulled over from it.
But I dont want to drop on the the normal Kestrel, and it never is on sale anyplace. But then I was looking at the Ruger and Hornady versions and since I am kind of a Ruger-Hornady guy I figure one of them might be right up my alley, so to speak. But will they interface with Vortex?

I don't have that version of the Kestrel, but I have the one with AB and link it to the Vortex Fury rangefinder that also has AB.

The rumor was that Vortex curtailed the Fury with AB because they acquired GeoBallistics and want to run their own.

In a prairie dog field where you have lots of direction changes versus the wind, when running the Kestrel and Fury together the system is pretty slick.

My only gripe was/is with the magnetic compass in the Fury being a little cantankerous to calibrate/coordinate.
