I have a question for anyone with either or both of these rifles. Does your bolt FALL OUT ? I ask this because today after testing the Wolf primers in my 308 at my Friends farm, he brought out 1 of each and showed me how EASEY the bolt fell out WITHOUT depressing the bolt release. He first noticed this on the I Bolt this past winter after purchase while cleaning the NEW rifle. He picked the rifle up by the forearm (with bolt open )and happened to bump the bench with the butstock and the bolt fell free. The Ruger American he was putting through checkout trials and (because of the I Bolt ) he gave it a little shake with the bolt open and plop out comes the bolt. I tried this today and I was AMAZED how little vibration/movement/bump (2" drop to boot did it to BOTH rifles) it took to drop the bolts on EITHER. Now I know y'all gonna say he should RETURN them both and or look at the PRICE point. I'm JUST asking if anyone else has had this issue with either of these models............BTW The Ruger (in 30-06) was shooting awesome with home molyplated 110gr. 30 carbine bullets at a loafing 2786fps.
