A lot of 'smiths don't like to mess with Ruger 77 triggers, but the right guy can do a good job on one. Used to be a guy locally who far as I'm concerned was the best. Back pre-electronic when there were adding machines, he repaired them. A wizard with triggers. Did a couple Rugers for me and the 77/22M is just perfect, he told me it was 12oz. Thing is very nicely accurate. So it can be done, although bear in mind that each one is a bit different and not all will tune the same.I have a Ruger 77/22 that I would like to use as a bench gun but the trigger pull weight is 28oz, is there any way to reduce the pull weight down to 16oz or less?
