Ruger 77-22 chamber

Is it possible to rechamber a 77-22 barrel to a match chamber. Can the standard barrel be set back? Thanks, Barlow

Yes, their is a fellow who i can not think of that works on these and the 10/22,s. He also does other stuff and is well known. Found out about him on Rimfire Central but sure others on here know him and others that work on them and will chime in.

Google Connecticut Precision Chambering ( CPC ), they do excellent work and i am sure their are some others.

Barlow,
In addition to Clarks, if you head over to Rimfire Central and go to "Ruger 77/22", you'll see one of the first topics is "Ruger 77/22 rebarrel." Theres a guy over there named 'nemohunter" who does exactly what you are looking for. I have no idea how good he is, but you might want to check with him and get a feel for what he does.
He gets stuff from CVlarks as well. Good luck.

Have had really good luck with CPC. Have 5 rifles they worked on. Very pleased. My 2 cents
