Ruger #1 base

Does anyone know of a tapered base or base that will take the Burris Signature rings that will fit the Ruger #1 rifle??? I haven`t found anything yet,,thought maybe someone here had some info..Thanks..

xpfuzz: Another 'yes' for the base mounts as shown. Had to switch to the Burris Signatures with the off-set inserts after my #1B was re-barreled, 1/4 rib mounted 'crooked'?), and these bases made that possible. They work fine and are reasonably priced. Midway master catalog, page 847, top left of page,'mount adapters', product 178-948, $31.99 pair.

I have the 410991 Burris Ruger to Weaver Adapter on one of my Ruger #1 rifles.

The picture shows a ring that is .63' long at the Weaver rail, and barely fits.

Burris Tactical rings are 1' long at the rail.

To get a low 30mm ring that is only .630' at the base, you may have to look around. I am going to try Millet Angle-Lock rings.

The Ruger-to-Weaver base adapter is working so well, I've just ordered another set from Midway, to fit my Ruger Mdl 77, MK 11 Varmint, Burris part# 410990. #410991 fits the #1, as explained to me by the Burris Customer service rep. My rings are all 1', so cannot comment on using them with 30mm rings. The Weaver made tapered dovetailed bases, Midway catalog #32, page 836, at $13.79 each) are an excellent choice for anyone wanting to change over to the Burris Signature rings, mounted on a Sako receiver, with the factory dovetail receiver. So many choices/ all high quality products.

I did take a Tapco AR15 riser, made of anodized Aluminum, and mill and drill and glass bed until it fit one of my Ruger #1 rifles.
