RUAG small rifle primers

G'day all I did a search but nothing came up for this .
Can anyone tell me if RUAG srp have a cup like cci400 or can they handle more pressure like cci450 and rem 71/2 .

Cheers

I have shot a bunch, several thousand, of them. Bought them from Graf back during the Obama shortage. They are a robust primer and I have never seen one pierce or leak around the edges. not thin cupped like CCI 400's. I shot some within the last week. Have 3-4000 left.

I haven't seen any for sale in quite a few years.

They are RWS primers. I did get 1 packet (250) last year. Performed well in the 6BR. We are supposed to get a quantity soon... meanwhile I have just had a small package of Ginex ( Bosnian) primers in the mail box. I gather that the UK guys have been using these for a while, but the first time in NZ, possibly.

My box says
RUAG Aerospace Defence Technology
2500 RWS
4,45mm ZE1.1-410.00

Doesn't say anything about Geco

The RUAG name will disappear soon and the production sites return to their traditional, well-established brand names. Our brands. Our company brands and sales ...

I think Ruag is gone.

Well I ended up buying 3000 as there was no limits like a few other shops that and it was all I could afford at $660.
I loaded some for a test and found them hard to seat in some rem 223 brass compeared to cci I reckon you would have some fun in lap brass ...... anyway just wondering if this is normal .

Cheers

It is the difference between European machinery and metric measurements vs. American machinery and SAE measurements.
The next seating will be easier.

My Ginex primers are always tight. Ram prime required.
I have some PPU 7AI brass with pockets getting loose with CCI but Ginex is very tight also

Been using Ginex on all my Brass for years now , when the pockets start getting loose . Haven't ever had to adjust a load when switching to them either . And my Regular Primer is the Rem 7-1/2 BR . Have Lapua ,308 SRP Brass with 30+ reloads , and some Win 54r Brass with over 20 reloads for a Mosin .
