RPA Quadlock Shooters - HELP!!!

I have a freshly rebarreled "new to me" Quadlock in 6.5x284. Shot #8 down the tube, and the Warner Tool iron sight side mount adapter broke off!!!

With the excellent quality of WTC sights, I was surprised to learn that their bases are prone to cracking and breaking.

So the question: What are you fellow RPA Quadlock using for iron sight, scope or combination mounts?

Any and all suggestions appreciated!

Why don’t you contact Warner Tool first before you go looking for other options???

Just looked. We have a dozen or so on the shelf. The reason they fail is because people torque them too tight. That base needs no more than a common scope ring !!

One of the shooters broke a Warner Mount the weekend before the Southwest Nationals this year. The owner was trying all kinds of thing to fix it. Call Warner and a new one fixed it before the match started.

Remember torque till your eyes tear and go another half turn.
I had a buddy that felt a 1/4 turn after it broke was perfect!
