Thanks and having fun doing it, I'm going to build a F Class stock for a very good friend using only band saw and hand tools, DIY guys might want to follow that one.

You hand tool guys, make sure you scribe your layout lines while the butt is square and parallel. I went ahead and roughed the TV side in, be careful not to remove th scribed line.

This is the layout for the butt, I used a low angle smoother and a spokeshave.

Again have be careful not to take your scribe line off.. that's what the diagonal lines are for to follow your progress.

I have a nice little wood shop, and love to make sawdust...... sometimes I actually make stuff that is nice enough that it gets to come in the house!!!!
