round count on brass?

Primer pockets are my barometer. Once they get loose, they go to the brass recycle bin.
Just delivered about 15 lbs (many, many years worth), to our club, they recycle and get $ for the club.

If you've got a batch of brass splitting necks (Norma/Tubb), but the pockets are OK, at what point do you scrap the batch? 25% split necks?

The second time I get a split neck from a batch, I toss it in the recycle bin.

I’ve only been reloading for 3 years, but from the get go I keep a count of how many times the brass has been loaded. My biggest issue to date WM is from 270 WSM Federal brass. I used what I could find since 2020, and 3-4 shots is it and the primer pockets are gone. With my 300 WSM, they so far have lasted a few rounds longer. I’ve only had two necks split to date, but I’m sure that will change.
