Ross Schuler Muzzle brakes

No doubt,I have made many brakes and now dont want to waste my time when CNC machines can knock out quite a few in an hour.Ross brakes look as good as any and better as he seems to angle the ports about 4 degrees like mine.I made one out of titanium and machined it on a 4 axis machine with 50 3/32nds holes and the 4 degree set back out of titanium. It is on a 30-06 encore pistol. It shoots like a soft 44 special now and cleans the bench right off.

Yes, I just ordered from him a month or so ago ... About to order several more, as they get the job done as good as any other that I've installed.

Another positive review. I have 3 of these brake, 243 pistol, 284 and 30-06 pistol. they work great and the quality is great. I had my barrels back about a week after he got them.

It's a great deal all the way around dealing with Ross and his brakes, I own several of them and they work really well . Great product....

we run eight.....I think.....8-10 of his brakes, very happy! Best customer service in the business.
We tried a couple less effective brakes costing five times as much before we found Ross's. No need to ever try another........Top shelf product, service and a great guy to boot.

JCS - since Ross' brake wasn't in the review done by the Precision Rifle Blog, why the link? The average price of brakes in that review was over $100, where Ross' brakes are $45.

That's something you need to take up with Cal Zant. I thought Cal's analysis was excellent.

Who. An send me a couple of these breaks to canada?? I will pay all cost that are incurred + thanks . Pm me if you are interested. Thanks, Kevin

How many rounds on an average can a person expect from a muzzle brake before it needs replacement.

I replace a number of soft brakes every year just because they beat the front baffle in if a guys shoots a lot, a good hardened brake will last a number of barrels even on an aggressive chambering if done right.

How do you know if the brake you are buying is hard or soft. I've looked at most and its something none of them seem to talk about.

I own several of Ross' brakes and you'll burn out the barrel before the brake heads south.

I just ask the manufacture if their hardened this will always get one of two responses cause their proud of the fact they don't or their proud to say they are.
