Roger Amos "The Expiper" Could Use Some Well Wishes Right Now

Posted for Lynn:

To those who haven't heard my good buddy and fellow shooter "The Expiper" (Roger Amos) broke his neck about 5 weeks ago.I talked to him today after not hearing from him after a month of trying.

From what he told me he was driving a quad wheel buggy on his range when he got it too close to the edge and flipped it over.He fell about 30 feet landing on his head and messing up either number 7 vertebrate or messing up 7 vertebrates? I am not a doctor.

He was laying in the creek bottom face down unable to move in shallow water using his chin to keep his nose out of the water so he could breath.Luckily his neighbor was opening a window and heard Roger yelling. After a search through some reeds they rescued him and into the hospital he went.

I think he said he would be getting out next month if all goes well and he sounded pretty good for someone who thought he had met his maker.I don't know the hospital name or his room number but he has his cell phone now and is using it.304-588-0089 I am sure after spending that much time in one place he would like to hear from some of his shooting friends.

Get Well Soon My Friend!!!

Lynn

Sounds like Roger could use a whole lot of postitive wishes in the forthcoming months. I dont know him personally, but have read his posts. My best and most positive wishes are being sent his way.

Roger,
It is so good to hear that you are home and doing better. Seems like everybody heals better when they are at home. Take care of yourself and get a lot of rest.

You are still in my prayers!!
