Roedale Precision - Issues?

Hello all, I wanted to get some feedback from the community. I ordered a stock from Roedale precision in the beginning of November 2014 and as of middle of May, 2015, still no sign of the stock. The website gave a lead time of 10 – 12 weeks. Their website lists my order as waiting for export paperwork from the German government (from November last year). I have lost count of the emails I have sent them asking for an update on my order but have never had a reply. Is this a common issue for people ordering from them?

If you check out UKVarminting forum you should get the information you seek. You may need to register first and will find a request for information on Roedale should get some response, most likely from PM's as it appears open talk on that company is not encouraged. I don't have any experience with them personally, it's just what I've picked up on from idly checking out the forum topics from time to time. Good luck from someone who got burned on a stock a few years ago.

I called Roedale today and got the “dog ate my homework” that seems to be the standard from what I have now seen. I got the spiel about production issues, sacked staff members, moving of production facilities. When I asked why I had no answer to the over 10 emails I have sent they claimed to have never received them. Despite the message tracking of my mail server confirming delivery. Now they claim 6 – 8 weeks till the stock is ready. On me pushing for a commitment, the best I could get from them was “that’s my best guess for now”
 
Ordered a S&B scope from them years ago. Went through the same thing. Then on top of it they sent the wrong scope. Mil Dot ret. with CM clicks. Shipping it back with all the Import/ Export BS was out of the question.
 
3 more months have now passed after they guestimated 2 months till delivery. Still no stock, no communication. This has been an 11 month wait to date .. not happy
 
Hi i also paid for my gun that i ordered and i m now left without my gun and my money. I ordered my gun in 2013, and he said no problem. I paid for it just as we agreed. He said that the waiting time is one year but after one year there was no gun. He was saying that it is almost ready to ship so i send him my permit papers -the original. The gun cost me almost 5000 euros. Now i m without my papers, gun and money . I hired best lawyers now and they are dealing with him now, in court ! I heard that the croatian guys had the similar problem. DON T BUY ANYTHING FROM PETER LINCOLN OR ROEDALE PRECISION
 
It's now been 15 months of being ignored while waiting for my stock with a web site stated lead time of 3 months max. I finally got a reply to an email, saying more delays, could be early summer meaning another 3 - 5 months? until the next "the dog ate my homework" excuse. I responded to the email demanding an immediate refund off all money paid, no answer yet.
 
After 15 + months of having my time wasted, I finally got a refund from Roedale! Honestly, I was expecting them to screw me over after reading all the crap they have done to others. Pete and Roedale, I would like to comment on your poor customer service but sadly, you have to have ANY type of customer service offering before it could be called poor. Having poor customer service would be a big step up from what you have right now. With all of the BS you told me and time you wasted as well as all the crap other customers have had dealing with you, you honestly don’t deserve to stay in business, you are one of the companies that tarnishes the good name of professionals who work in and care for the firearms industry.

I went on the MDT website to look for a suitable left hand Tikka T3 stock, now that I know Roedale is a waste of time. I ordered one of their TAC21 chassis on Wednesday mid-afternoon, Sydney time, by Wednesday evening of the same day; I got a tracking number from their courier! THIS is customer service, Roedale, learn a lesson, less false advertising and bullshit “the dog ate my homework” excuses and start acting like an honourable, professional company. Thanks MDT for such great customer service
